The number of Murog on Johanathan attacks has increased tenfold in the past few days, and i can only offer one explanation. That cat is a racist. I never see him attack Brad or Justin, and i'm pretty sure he never has. If i ever have to chase him around so he gets off my bed at 730 am again, i might step on the little guy to teach him a lesson. I mean yesterday, he pounced on me on the couch and cut my pinkie. that little bastard.

i've been in casts and arm braces and shit since may and my arm still isnt healed. i hate everything about everything right now.

well, except for the fact that i get to cover the game tonight.

Solid weekend.

all that sleep i mentioned in my last update never happened. instead, i got half an hour on a tarp using a book bag full of beer as my pillow on the parade grounds at 3 am. this, of course was after i spent most of friday getting drunk and yelling racist things at people i dont know.

I managed to send 7 text messages and make 3 calls i dont even remember...but i did profess my undying adoration for a girl who i havent seen since the beginning of senior year in high school.

I got to get on stage for espn gameday, was on national tv for about 2 minutes and i shook desmond howards hand (he has a heisman). I also got a free shirt and a hard hat.

Around noon yesterday is when the wheels on my perfect weekend started to fall off. I started to feel like i was dying.

We ordered a pizza, and then walked back to campus where i baked in the sun for several hours. thank god i found liz who found me jello shots and hunch punch.

then the game started and that was amazing, and then i got here and crashed for almost 12 hours.

Ok, heres the gameplan:

-Shoot 'em up with Nick, Corey, others(?) at 5.
-Make poster for ESPN gameplan while watching wwe smackdown 7ish-9.
-Get drunk as shit from about 10-2.
-Nap?
-Stumble (literally) from nicks apartment to the parade grounds at approximately 5 am.
-Line up for gameday, yell alot, and hopefully be on tv from around 7-11. (Look for the "Lou Holtz is a senile old man" sign.)
-Stumble back to nick's place to crash at noonish.
-Pass out for about 3 hours at nick's place until 330ish.
-Drink red bull/alcohol and listen to all sorts of rap music (specifically TI and Lil' Wayne)around 4.
-Get to stadium to get decent seats around 5.
-Nap in stadium until the team comes out for warmups.
-Game at 8:22 CST.
-Post game stupidness until about 2.

Hopefully i can manage both not to die and to enjoy myself this weekend. Yay for football.

theres so much that i want to say on this thing right now, but my brain isnt functioning at its optimal proficiency, yeah i'm gonna crawl back into bed, find the remote and watch more college football.

my first story runs in the reveille tomorrow. read it, fuckers. seriously. there will be a quiz.

I go out and spend like $150 on groceries, and my fucking roomates just take it upon themselves to eat my shit without even asking. I just spent like 45 bucks on a waffle iron and the tools to create waffles, and my roomate thought it would be cool to use it and all the shit i bought. No, its not cool, and i am pissed. As soon as he gets back here, i'm gonna have to lay down some ground rules on groceries.

I have been spending the past two days learning how to properly crank dat soulja boy for Nick's party, and once I finally got it down, i get on youtube and discover that theres around a dozen more crank dat dances. I'm thoroughly upset with soulja boy, and music and general really. I mean, i spend all this time learning this shitty dance, and now its obsolete.

this update is about soccer.

as i was channel surfing a couple of days ago, i stumbled across the replay of the manchester united vs reading match (you have no idea how happy this made me). while watching the game i discovered what will be my newest clothing purchase

on the back it says manchester utd. sure its 80 bucks, but i think its a wise investment.

yesterday i went to soccer media day. it was cool, and a lot more laid back than football. i think i'll like covering the smaller sports better because there werent a dillion people trying to talk to the coach about nothing. if you had a question, you'd just ask it, and not have to worry about 6 different people trying to get their stuff done.

also, i'll go on record of saying that i dont like David Beckham. i just dont get the hype. sure he's young and good looking and so is his wife, but theres a dozen better soccer players in the world. i dont see why he's the top story on sportscenter when he scores a goal, but i have to wait 40 minutes to get some espn deportes update to see ronaldinho. its just an annoyance.
